Hello everyone and welcome to the official portal of study in Italy where we'll be applying for the Italian government scholarship that is the me scholarship that is currently open. I'll be attaching the link to the description box for you to access this particular website. So when you get here well for us to proceed, we need to um log in for us to do that.
or if you are a first time you need to what register here before we do that I want us to run through some information so that you don't just waste your time because this scholarship is not uh it's not everybody that is eligible for the scholarship you guys yes there is no application fee but at the same time it's better not to waste your precious time applying so when you get here come and click on grant so can you see we have call for what application just to know the scholarship currently open so can you see scholarship awarded by Italian
government for 2026 2027 academic session is open and the deadline is 26th of March 2026. So these are the documents. This is the call in Italian, the call in English and also the list of what countries eligible. So let's start with the list of countries eligible. First open link in new tab. So just for us to scan through the list of countries that are eligible to apply.
So if it belongs to any of these national so you are eligible to apply. Can you see? Just take your time to go over it and make sure that your nationality is there. I'm trying to look for Nigerian because yeah. So can you see here we are Nigeria. So if you are a non Nigerian take your time to go over the list and be very sure that your nationality is there before you what apply. So that is that about that.
Then moving on we come back to the call. Then you click on this amando 20 26 27 which is the what English call. So for us to see um the call because the call is actually very very important. There are some information I would love us to see in the call as well. Well, I won't be reading all the call. I'll just highlight um some important information for you. But you take your time.
Please read the call before you even click on um apply. So actually the deadline is like I said earlier is March 26. So the scholarship is are offered for study or training or even research program for public or legally recognized private Italian institution. So which means that people that are enrolled into that have gotten admission over from um private institutions too can apply.
you get but it does have to be legally recognized Italian private institution. So the type of scholarship we have for the master's degree which is Laura Magistria in Italian and it is awarded for a period of what 9 months and are potentially what renewable. So that is that about that please read the further information then also for I education for fine arts music and dance for first and second cycle also it's applicable for what PhD program as well as research program also that being said so what's the eligibility what criteria so for you to
be eligible candidates applying for this scholarship for you to be eligible you must have a certificate confirming award of academic qualification that you have to upload on the study teleporter which you will be doing right now for you to be what eligible. So just take your time. Then there is an age requirement.
If you applying for um Laura Magistral Masters program or programs are that are in 1.2 1.5.6 please refer so that you can understand that one. But you must not you cannot exceed the age of what 28 as the deadline of this call. But this uh exception this age exception is not um applicable to renewal.
Which means as at the time you are applying you must not for I'm talking about master's program now you must not be older than 28. But as at the time you are renewing let's assume you you made it to the scholarship you were you were awarded the scholarship. It's not like applicable to renewing the scholarship because obviously we we you would have added another age by that time.
So then candidates that are applying for um the paragraph 1.3 which is PhD must not exceed the age of what 30 as the what time of what application and for candidate that are using it to apply for research program they must not exceed the age of what 40. So that is that about academic age requirement. Then moving on we move to language proficiency.
So for people applying for Italian program we're not going to talk about that. Okay, for people applying for English T programs, you must have um show English proficiency at least with minimum level of what? B2, which means that applicants who have completed an entirely English t bachelor's degree program may upload on the study portal a document stating the study program was entirely taught in English.
Which simply means that if you have English proficiency certificate or medium of instruction, you can upload it. Please go ahead to read all of these other information. What's about the inelig in ineligibility? So what are the things that makes you ineligible to apply? First one is that not being en you must not been enrolled or have obtained a secondary school diploma in Italy.
In case you have done that you are not eligible to apply not being enrolled or or have obtained a degree in the public or private universities in Italy in or on the Italian territory. Then the third one is not being enrolled or have obtained a degree of foreign education in in institution whether public or private in Italy.
So this um particular scholarship is for international student that are residing outside Italy and have not obtained any degree or certification from Italy. These are what other ineligibility criteria which you should take your time to re to read then for you to be able to renew it. This is the what criteria you must meet certain credits.
Yeah, I know that one is for sure. So at least I think at least 15 credits that's very that's very achievable. It's not that hard. to then the funding period the funding period is always for period of what 9 months starting from November 1st to July 20 31 2027 and please know that you cannot defer admission to the following academic year if you're using MC scholarship most Italian institution don't even defer admission so and I think the money will be paid on three installments yeah I can't I don't know where the information is here so there
is this scholarship and it is actually for applicants from Morocco Nigeria if you see that we are also here take your time but I think it's related to a particular field of study people in international relation and the like please just take your time to read this call so that you understand so how do you apply this is that that is how to apply which I'll be showing you in this tutorial also on how we can actually apply and these are the document that you need to what upload most majorly most document that you upload during
your enrollment this is what the scholarship actually cover you cover you will not pay tition fee It also cover your what? Health insurance. Yeah. And this is how the payment will be this. But just take your time to to read it. So when you are ready to what apply, you click you come back and click on you can click on how to apply or you come back here to where we actually start and you create an account which I'm going to do now.
So when you get back here just click on what register for us to actually proceed to register for the program. Then I'll go ahead to input all this information. So I've gone ahead to impute this necessary details. Like I used to say your name is actually for people that make use of their middle name. Impute your first name followed by your what? Middle name and what your surname as it is on your international passport.
If you don't have middle or third name, you don't have issues with this. But if you have middle or third name on your international passport or document, always impute it immediately after your name. Go ahead to impute your DO. And for this D O look at it very well. It is the month first before the date so that you don't make mistake.
So it is the month I am born in April. Then the day and the what year then your gender put your gender, your um telephone, citizenship, your country of birth, the country of resident, the place of birth, the place of birth should be the same as it is on your international passport. Beside the citizen of the country you're applying for.
Do you also have Italian citizenship? Of course I don't. But if you have you can click on what? Yes, for people that have. So if you are done with that, always make sure that you double check your information before proceeding please. It is very very important because sometimes you know this is scholarship and it is very competitive.
A slight mistake like this can just be the end of it. So if you are sure just click on what next to proceed. So here we are going to select the type of what document that we want to use. I'll be picking passport. Go ahead to impute the number issued by. You can find it on your what on your passport. Put the authority that issued it.
Then the what the expiry what date. Can you see here also is also the month first before the day and the year. So please always take note note of this so that you don't make mistake with this information. So we click on the month first. Let's assume it will be expiring in October um let's say 5 20 29. So here you go ahead to to upload what the the document that you just impute the details now. So I will do that.
So after uploading the document you click on what next. So here you impute what your username that you want to be using here. Just make sure that you go ahead to impute the username the one that you can remember. Impute your email confirm it and impute the what um password that you can always remember.
After that you come scroll down and click on you declared that you've read the privacy policy and you understand how your data will be processed. Then click on what register. By now you will have already gotten an email in your inbox. You should check it like welcoming you to study in um Italy what portals stating like your registration is successful.
Then you can go ahead to impute the username and the what password there. Then click on what login to input the what OTP sent to your email and click on what login. Here we've already logged in. Can you see my username at the top left corner? So can you see just this is just like the normal um interface but I have already logged in.
So for us to begin our application you come here and click on my what application. So scrolling down can you see there's no any current application that I have history none also. So just if you want to know maybe you've applied before you can just use this filter what button for you to know. But let's just go to this business of the day.
Let's create the what application. So these are the details that I've already imputed so far. Can you see with the um document that you've already uploaded just we cannot even edit them. So that's why it's very important to make sure you impute the right one. So after confirming that you click on what next to proceed. So here we have what um cost selection.
Have you already benefited from a scholar from a scholarship in the previous academic year? Answer accordingly. Will you need to submit supplementary documents as part of the what call? Answer accordingly. Type of study program you are applying for. What are you applying for already? M's program for example achieved or what expected what for this achieved or expected bank I would just say maybe you should just go ahead to impute your what your CGPA because you don't know you've not even started the program. You don't
know any anything that you're going to achieved. So let's just say from your previous degree what do you have? So you can just input your CGPA here. For example, let's say I had 3 um um 78 out of 5.0. Okay. So let's just say 3.8 out of 5.0. It's allowing just two decimal place. Then institution in Italy.
What institution? So for example, I'll be saying University of Padoba. You should impute the name of institution that you are going for. For people that have multiple application already, impute the institution that you know you want to go, the one you you've already pre-enroll or you intend to pre-enroll into.
So what's your course name or research project title? This is for people that the research project for people that are going for research project or if you're going for um master's degree or PhD, impute your program name. For example, I graduated with um from marine biology in university of at University of Padua. So I'll just impute u my program name there.
So what you should do what city what's the city of the pro of the uh program? Mine was in Kyoja not in Padova. So you should know the city and please know that Italian university they have they used to have different um campus in different cities. So know where your program is also it is very very important. You can always use Google for for that one.
So if you want to add other courses you can click on what add. If you don't want you can just what proceed that totally depend on you. So what's the course language? Mine is what in English and I'm sure majority of us are going for English course. So if you want to save it you save it. You can also click on next but I always advise people like save your always make sure that you save your progress when you are applying.
So say okay the moment I saved it you get it already took me back to the homepage. So let's just click on complete application as if I want to what proceed. Sorry about that. So just click on what's next. Can you see that I'm not starting all over again. Just took me to this page. All the information I've already input is still there.
So let's click on what next to proceed. So here is where you are going to what upload all the necessary what information that they need. um your CV most of the time I've always said if you're applying to anything Italian um anything Italian admission application you make use of Europass they're not making mandatory any information any like you have to use Europas but I strongly advise you to um make use like submit Europass format then academic qualification that is valid for admission to to the choosing what program this academic qualification
is your bachelor's degree certificate your certificate that is what is valid so transcript of record go ahead to upload it language certificate. If you have test score, upload it. If you don't if you have if you don't have upload proficient certificates because it is accepted. Then motivation letter. Yes, motivation letter is one of the strongest point of Macy's scholarship.
You have to is very different from the generic motivation letter. So you have to be very very careful in your motivation letter. Go ahead to upload that. Then other documentation also if there's anything you feel like will help your application just if it is more than one merge the document together and upload it here.
So after you've uploaded everything go ahead to click on I declare that I'm not a beneficiary and click on next to proceed. So this take us to the um like I think the summary of all the information that we've imputed so far like can you see yeah just like the summary all the what document that you've uploaded then you proceed to declare that you are not again just proceed to declare and there's no false documentation so grants cannot be awarded to Italian administration yes so I advise you that you should export the PDF because the moment you click on send
that means you are submitting the what application already. So exporting the PDF gives you access to have like a copy of all your what information. So clicking on what export what PDF just like summary of what we've imputed so far. So can you see? Yeah. So that is you can just go ahead to save it on your file or your phone just for future purpose.
Coming back here. So you click on what send for them to process what the uh application. So I'll just click on what send. So can you see we have successfully applied for the Italian government scholarship for 2020 2021 academic session. If you want to look at your um information you can always click on what application details.
Currently it is still on what the is on sent. If you maybe you made a mistake you want to delete you can always use delete button to delete. Then this is your what protocol number which is very important when the result is what out. So that is how to apply to the Italian what government scholarship. This is just me checking the details.
